Starting in 2019, The City of Detroit Parks and Recreation Department began extensive renovations in fourteen parks throughout the city.
The refurbished Palmer Park also features a basketball court with mural, upgraded playground equipment, new lighting, new walkways, a revitalization of Lake Frances and more.
